You don't have to buy a subscription, unless things are different for your country, although if I were you, I'd double-check if some random person said I have to pay anyone for a Ukranian, Polish, German, etc. Snapchat subscription, because I seriously doubt it costs money in any country.

Snapchat is basically a messaging app...like if I want to ask someone to meet me at the coffee shop, instead of texting them I can use Snapchat. I could also use it to send that person a picture of my sister's cat, a short video of the jerk who owns the snowball stand near my house falling on his ass, or an audio clip of me breathing heavily while I masturbate. It's a way to get personally involved with your fan base, being able to send them naughty pics and videos just like if they were your bf/gf.
